Reliable performance, high purity, and consistent quality.

Granular Activated Carbon

Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) is a highly effective adsorbent available in larger particle sizes than Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC). Its porous structure provides a large internal surface area for efficient adsorption of organic and inorganic contaminants.

GAC offers controlled flow and efficient mass transfer, making it ideal for fixed-bed and column filtration systems. It effectively removes dissolved contaminants, colour, taste, odour, chlorine, VOCs, and other unwanted impurities from water, gases, and industrial streams.

GAC is widely used in gold recovery (CIP, CIL & CIC), water treatment, industrial purification, and air & gas treatment.

ADSD supplies high-quality GAC grades engineered for consistent adsorption performance, mechanical strength, and reliable service life, with application-specific specifications for industrial and municipal requirements.

Powdered Activated Carbon

Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) is a finely milled, highly porous adsorbent designed for rapid and efficient contaminant removal from liquid-phase applications. Its extensive pore structure provides high adsorption capacity for a wide range of organic and inorganic impurities.

PAC is typically added directly to liquid streams, where its fine particle size enables fast adsorption kinetics. It effectively reduces colour, taste, odour, organic compounds, residual chemicals, and trace contaminants.

PAC is widely used in drinking water and wastewater treatment, industrial effluent treatment, food & beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and chemical purification.

ADSD offers application-specific PAC grades designed for consistent adsorption performance, high efficiency, and reliable treatment results across demanding industrial applications.

Extruded Activated Carbon (Pellets)

Extruded Activated Carbon (Pellets) is a high-performance adsorbent produced through controlled extrusion and high-temperature activation. Its cylindrical structure provides excellent mechanical strength, low pressure drop, and efficient gas-phase adsorption.

Its developed pore structure effectively removes VOCs, vapours, ammonia, sulphur compounds, mercury, and odorous contaminants from air and gas streams.

Pelletized Activated Carbon is widely used in air purification, gas treatment, solvent recovery, emission control, soil vapour extraction, and landfill gas treatment.

ADSD offers application-specific grades designed for high adsorption efficiency, durability, and reliable performance in demanding industrial applications.

Acid Washed Activated Carbon

Acid-Washed Activated Carbon is a specially treated grade designed for high purity and reliable adsorption performance. The acid-washing process reduces mineral impurities, ash, and water-soluble inorganic matter, resulting in cleaner and more refined carbon.

Its developed pore structure effectively removes colour, odour, organic contaminants, and trace impurities from various liquid streams.

It is widely used in water purification, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, aqua, swimming pool, and industrial applications, particularly where low ash and high carbon purity are required.

ADSD offers application-specific grades with consistent quality, adsorption performance, particle size, and purity to meet demanding purification requirements.

C. Extruded Activated Carbon (Pellets)

Extruded Activated Carbon (Pellets) is manufactured from coconut shell through
high-temperature steam activation under strict quality control. It is highly effective for air and gas purification, solvent recovery and evaporative emission control. Pellet activated carbon is widely used for VOC removal, vapour phase treatment, soil venting and removal of contaminants such as ammonia, sulphur compounds, mercury and amines.
